Comedy encompasses all mainstream genres. Basically, we, the dolls, believe you can make anything funny with enough skill. The goal of books in this genre is simple: to entertain. Sure, we might have a broader message, as you’ll find in Katrina Monroe’s Sacrificial Lamb Cake, but as long as we make you laugh, we don’t really care if you get our message.

What is funny, though? Depends on your sense of humor, I suppose. Most of the time, it’s about poking fun at something, be it an idea or a part of the human condition. Everyone finds different things funny, which is why it’s fortunate this genre ranges from light and ridiculous to dark and cynical.
